Day 1: Arrive Delhi, on arrival meet and transfer to Hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 2: Delhi – Leh(By air),Leh - Khalsar...110km(Geep)
Catch an early morning flight to Leh.Leave Leh after breakfast with packed lunch, cross Khardong-la (mountain pass-5540 Metres) through the highest motorable road in the world. Arrive at Khalsar mountain pass . Overnight stay in camp.
Day 3: Khalsar - Panamik...75 km
After visiting Gompa Monastery at Khalsar, drive to Panamik a very large settlement at the bank of Nubra river. Overnight stay in camp.
Day 4 : At Panamik
Visit Hot water sulphur spring, have a bath (ideal for physical ailments), return to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the 250-year-old Samoor Gompa. Overnight stay in Camp.
Day 5 : At Leisure
Visit Nubra river, local people, Bazar and pick some of local Handicrafts.
Day 6 : Panamik - Tirit
Drive back to Tirit village - a centre of Handicrafts, Wool and Jewellery.
Overnight stay in Camp.
Day 7 : Free Day
Day 8 : Tirit - Leh
Drive back to Leh after crossing Khardong-la, reaching Leh around 4 P.M.
Day 9 : Departure for onward journey.
Board a flight to Delhi. Spend day relaxing or shopping. Departure for onward journey. |
