Day 1 DELHI
Arrival in Delhi and visit the city which has seen the rise and fall of many empires which have left behind a plethora of monuments that the grandeur and glory of bygone ages . A city which traces its history to Mahabharata for the city of Indraprastha,evolving through a rule of Mughals and Finally the Britishers.
Monuments : Jama Masjid, Rajghat, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Laxminarayan Temple, India Gate, Humayun's Tomb.
Day 2 DELHI
Sightseeing tour of New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British empire. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar ,India Gate and the grand President's House, Red fort, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial. Also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Night in Delhi.
Day 3 KHAJURAHO
Move the airport to board flight to khajuraho. The Khajuraho group of monuments has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Khajuraho has the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, famous for their erotic sculpture. Khajuraho oozes with passion, eroticism, dance and music and other finesses of creative arts depicted in sculpture and images of the temples.Night in Khajuraho.
Monuments : Chaunset Yogini Temple, Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta Or Bharatji Temple Vishvanath And Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple , Parasvanath Temple, The Javeri Temple.
Day 04/ Khajuraho- Agra ( By flight )
Morning enjoy a jeep safari to the panoramic Reneh Falls enroute visiting various village hamlets and interacting with villagers.Move the airport to board flight to the city of Taj, the city of the inimitable Taj Mahal, marble marvel , the ultimate requiem of love, from a great Mughal Emperor to his beloved situated on the bank of Yamuna river. The city which has served as a cantonment to Mughal, British and Indian Army. Visit Taj Mahal at sunset. Night in Agra.
Monuments : Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Itmad - Ud – Daula, Chini Ka Rauza, Chini Ka Rauza, Sikandra Fort, Radhaswamy Satsang, Dayalbagh.
Day 05 / Agra- Delhi- Departure
Morning at sunrise visit the magnificent Taj Mahal- one of the seven wonders of the world, the taj is amazingly graceful from almost any angle, it is the close up details, which are really astounding. Later visit the Agra Fort- a hilltop citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates.
Drive to Delhi and finally to the airport for the onward journey. |
